maritime du Saint-Laurent : Analyse \u00e9conomique des services de r\u00e9ception de conteneurs dans six ports de l\u2019Est du Canada<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>\u00c9tude pr\u00e9par\u00e9e par Aviseo Conseil pour la Chambre de commerce maritime<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actuellement, l\u2019Agence des services frontaliers du Canada (ASFC) ne prend en charge le d\u00e9douanement des conteneurs maritimes \u00e9trangers qu\u2019\u00e0 cinq ports au Canada : Halifax, Saint John, Montr\u00e9al, Prince Rupert et Vancouver, ce qui cr\u00e9e des d\u00e9fis dans la cha\u00eene d\u2019approvisionnement canadienne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette \u00e9tude a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9e afin d\u2019\u00e9valuer les avantages de l\u2019expansion des services de d\u00e9douanement des conteneurs de l\u2019ASFC \u00e0 six ports additionnels int\u00e9rieurs situ\u00e9s sur les Grands Lacs et le fleuve Saint-Laurent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tude d\u00e9montre que si un soutien suppl\u00e9mentaire en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9douanement des conteneurs par l\u2019ASFC \u00e9tait offert \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble des ports \u00e9tudi\u00e9s, cela permettrait de :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>g\u00e9n\u00e9rer plus de 130 millions de dollars en revenus suppl\u00e9mentaires pour les entreprises de l\u2019Ontario et du Qu\u00e9bec chaque ann\u00e9e ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>g\u00e9n\u00e9rer jusqu\u2019\u00e0 80\u202fmillions de dollars en revenus fiscaux suppl\u00e9mentaires pour les gouvernements ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>et de permettre un retour sur l\u2019investissement gouvernemental en quelques mois \u00e0 peine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Terminal de conteneurs au Port de Qu\u00e9bec :<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Avantage principal :<\/strong> Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la profondeur de 15 m\u00e8tres et aux infrastructures existantes au Port de Qu\u00e9bec \u2014 incluant un poste douanier maritime op\u00e9rationnel et un r\u00e9seau intermodal performant \u2014 QSL souhaite optimiser la capacit\u00e9 de chargement des navires porte-conteneurs en direction et en provenance du Port de Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Avantage \u00e9conomique local :<\/strong> Augmentation des revenus des entreprises de 59 millions de dollars annuellement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Avantages environnementaux :<\/strong> \u00c9conomie annuelle de 25 500 tonnes de CO\u2082e, ce qui repr\u00e9sente une r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts sociaux li\u00e9s aux gaz \u00e0 effet de serre de 123 millions de dollars sur 20 ans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Avantages pour la cha\u00eene APHO et Hamilton Container Terminals Inc. (HCT Inc.) se sont associ\u00e9s pour cr\u00e9er le terminal \u00e0 conteneurs de Hamilton (HCT) afin d\u2019augmenter la capacit\u00e9 int\u00e9rieure. De plus, des fonds f\u00e9d\u00e9raux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 investis pour soutenir cette capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 Hamilton.
